We’ve recently welcomed two awesome Interns to support our Supplier and Product teams, helping us stay on top of the many moving parts that keep Givenwell running smoothly. They’re already proving to be a huge help with admin, bringing fresh energy, a sharp eye for detail, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. They’re not just ticking off to-do lists, they’re contributing real value as we grow and evolve.

In return, they’ll gain hands-on experience across a fast-paced startup, learning everything from product development to partner relationships. It’s a chance to build skills that will serve them well no matter where they go next, all while being part of a team that is genuinely working to improve lives. We’re excited to have them on the journey with us.

Meet Maita:

Hi, my name is Maita. I recently graduated from the University of Otago and am now enrolled in postgraduate study. I applied to Givenwell because I love how the company emphasises the importance of taking care of yourself and your hauora, especially in the workplace. Everyone on the team is incredibly driven and genuinely cares about the impact Givenwell is making. I’ve already learnt so much and can’t wait to keep contributing to the meaningful work being done here.

Meet Leo:

I’m Leo, a fourth-year student at Otago studying law alongside human anatomy and nutrition. I was stoked to apply for the internship because I thought the concept was an awesome way to make wellbeing services more accessible, while also gaining experience in an exciting, fast-paced startup environment. I’m really enjoying getting stuck into lots of different projects and learning how everything fits together. I’m looking forward to meeting more suppliers, members, and users to understand their needs in the wellbeing space better, all while seeing the business grow alongside an awesome team.
